These meetings are private, confidential, and totally focused on helping you with how to build self-confidence and live a fulfilling life. Being one-on-one with a person who has a collection of methods and techniques offering insight to help you see your aspirations more clearly.

While the basic definition likely sounds all well and good, you may still be wondering what a confidence coach does. This process will vary based on an individual's background and how deep the uncertainties lie.

In general, a Confidence Coach will work with someone to quieten the voices telling them they're inadequate and find the freedom to live fully and confidently.

About me

After 25 years in HR, Dawn founded HR Notebook

After 25 years working in various HR departments in the Commercial World, I decided to create my own company, HR Notebook. I wanted to do the things I love helping businesses build and grow whilst navigating the sticky world of Human Resources, so that happy productive employees are doing the best they can in their jobs. By providing this support I would be using my experience, wisdom, and technical knowledge. I can help businesses avoid the banana skins of employment law and get the best out of people.

Raised in Rye on the Southeast Coast, ambitious and ready to take on the world, I moved to London with no plans for a career in Human Resources.

In 1995 I found myself a single parent, with no home or job, so I started again. I believe the tenacity, decision making and the ability to spin plates during this time allowed me to realise my strength of character. When life gets tough, you have got to dig deep. I made sacrifices, I built a home and secured my first job in HR.

Eager to be an example of an inspirational woman with a strong work ethic for my daughter, I worked hard to develop my skills which resulted in several promotions, I was placed on talent courses, I was headhunted into new companies. I worked my way up the ladder by taking on complex ER issues, including disciplinaries, grievances and settlement agreements. I built and delivered training packages to employees new to people management.

I led on various Human Resource programs including, redundancies, building closures in the UK and Europe and led over 150 insource and outsourcing projects. I gained a huge amount of experience (and scars) on what works well and what should be avoided when dealing with growing businesses, people, and change.
